Trust wallet & decentralised apps.
I use Trust wallet mainly on the Binance Smart Chain with pancake swap’s decentralised exchange, liquidity pools and farms running on the cake token.
I’m not a financial advisor and my blogs are purely for educational purposes. All followers are ALWAYS encouraged to DYOR!
Trust wallet can be downloaded and installed directly from the Google Play and apple store to your smart device. Decentralised wallets and apps allow you to keep an eye on your finances through your smart devices and the integrated web browsers in these apps.
The integrated browser allows a person to log in with the wallet without having to create a new account. It does also have a decentralised exchange that you can use in the wallet.
The wallet connect option in the settings allows you to log in on a PC to a site that is registered to your wallet. It will only connect after you scan the QR code and give permission.
I own cake tokens that I bought with BNB on the Binance smart chain to stake in the liquidity pools with Pancake Swap. I have staked cake for cake even though one can stake cake for returns in many other pools. There are also staking options for pairs (BNB-Cake) of various cryptocurrencies.
Pancake swap is one of many platforms available on the Binance Smart Chain where individuals can use their crypto to earn interest in liquidity pools and more. Even though I log in with my Trust wallet, the platform does offer other login options like MetaMask too.
Art and games are also forming a big part of new cryptocurrency technology that we will discuss in future, but artists are welcome to take a look at one of the crypto based community initiatives that we are starting up through Afreekana Arts in support of MESHOA and their skills training projects in remote rural towns across Southern Africa that they hope to be able to start up in Q1 of 2022.
We plan on using blockchain technology and cryptocurrency in MESHOA computer centres to help the communities we serve, to sell their products globally through our platforms while helping them create their own bases of online operations.
Afreekana Arts is the first step towards that goal.
We meet many artistically creative individuals who use their talent to sell items for a living on the street because of the lack of decent employment opportunities. We aim to help them and any others who want to sell their creations through our digital art galleries as we create our own online community of supporters in an eventual Decentralised Autonomous Organisation (DAO) governed by the community.
